linux_mount_samba_share_bash

Mounting a Samba share from the shell

This is an example that can be used when you've secured your Samba share with user/pass:

   sudo mount -t cifs -o username=myuser,password=mypassword //192.168.0.2/media /mnt/share

I think Ubuntu comes with the package samba-common even with a minimal install, so it should work in nearly all cases.
